How to Succeed in the Standard Level Maths Matura Exam in English in 2026?!

I'll guide you through the exact steps that have already helped nearly a hundred of my students understand maths and achieve great results.

Do you feel like…?

You're not alone — if you jump into the final year without a plan, you’ll regret it later. You need to act in time, or the pressure will only increase!

What happens if you don’t start in time?

But it doesn’t have to be that way!

Now imagine instead…

What a relief it would be to open your exam paper in May, nervous—but confident thanks to all the preparation behind you.

How great it would feel walking out of the written exam knowing you gave it your all. You may not know your exact score yet, but you feel proud of your effort—even if 1–2 tiny things didn’t go as planned.

How satisfying it would be to see that by January or February, you’ve already reviewed 50%, 60%, or even 80% of the topics—and by March, you’ve covered 100%! And imagine writing the mock or trial exams in March with the confidence that none of the topics feel unfamiliar anymore—you’re just polishing what you already know.

How Can You Prepare in Time?

My program starting in September is a preparation course for the intermediate-level maths graduation exam in English, where

I’m Adrienn Farkas – Economist (MSc), Engineer (MSc), and Private Maths Tutor

All my life, I’ve set goals and achieved them step by step. I know how to guide you through the same. Preparing for the maths exam is also about many small steps – and as you move forward, you’ll start to see the patterns, and feel confident solving problems that once seemed impossible. But you’ll need persistence – and that’s where I come in to support you!

What my former students say about working with me:

Students often think this – and maybe you do too:

You might think this is too much right now – but that’s exactly why I’ve built the program so you only need to cover one topic per week, gradually. Many are also afraid they won’t get enough support – but during the weekly sessions I answer all your questions, and the 3-hour monthly workshops give you practical experience and confidence.
If tutoring hasn’t worked for you before, this might finally be the structure you need. I know you’re thinking: “I probably can’t do this.” But with a solid plan and weekly progress, you absolutely can – I’ve seen it with many students. This system will help you reach better results than if you tried to do it alone – and that’s the real goal! You won't have ChatGPT to ask in the exam - you will be on your own.

If this has not convinced you yet that it would be good to study with me, then watch this video how I explain a smaller topic and a practice problem.

+ EXTRA support you’ll receive from me:

Bonus 1

A categorised list of Matura Exam Problems from the past years – organized by topic, so you can find what you need faster

Bonus 2

Matura Exam Problem List Tracker with problems from the last 10 years where you can mark which tasks you’ve already completed

Bonus 3

An English–Maths glossary to boost your subject-specific vocabulary

This isn’t a boring course – this is your survival kit for the graduation exam

Success isn’t luck – it’s the result of deliberate steps!

By joining, you’ve already taken your first big step.

From here, you just need to keep pace – and I’ll be right there with you to support you the whole way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Basically, yes – but many key topics are taught in Year 11, so there will be some topics we’ll cover in the autumn that are typically part of the second semester of Year 11.

The course content and communication are entirely in English, so this course is not recommended for you.

Not really. The course doesn’t cover every topic from the advanced-level curriculum (topics assessed only at the advanced-level are not included). The problem solving videos are designed for intermediate-level questions only, and the weekly problem-solving workshops also focus on intermediate-level exam tasks. So, at best, this course might help you build a foundation, but it won’t prepare you for the full advanced-level exam. You could benefit from the theoretical video materials included in the Standard Package, but they still won’t cover topics exclusive to the advanced-level syllabus.

The monthly fee is less than the cost of two private tutoring sessions in English. For this price, you receive 7 hours of group problem-solving workshops, theoretical and practical video lessons, plus valuable bonuses – overall, this offers significantly more value.

In my experience, 90–95% of students struggle to plan their study time over 7-8 months. Some do try, but between school tests and other assignments, they fall behind and often don’t touch their exam prep materials for weeks. In contrast, this course provides continuous support to help you stay on track.

Yes, free resources do exist – but you often have to search through them randomly, and they’re not aligned with the Hungarian curriculum. For instance, the expectations of the British GCSE exam are not the same as those of the Hungarian Matura exam.

sem ugyanaz, mint a magyar érettségié.

This course prepares you to develop solid understanding in every topic. If you choose not to start now in the autumn, chances are you’ll start panicking around January or February. By then, it’s even harder to find time – your afternoons and weekends will be packed with writing Hungarian and history exam topics. If you add maths prep on top of that, it can become overwhelming, and your preparation will likely become shallow. I’ve seen this happen with many of my former students – some even wondered when they’d have time to sleep. Starting in the autumn and progressing steadily is a much smarter and calmer approach.

I’ve participated in maths competitions since primary school and attended a specialized maths program at Szent István Secondary Grammar School in Budapest. I hold an MSc in Engineering (BME) and an MSc in Economics (Corvinus). Over the past 25 years, nearly 120 students have felt it was worth learning with me. You’ll find a few testimonials above, too.

Since you’re already here, it’s no coincidence. Take the first step now so you can confidently face the maths final exam in May! This program will help you along the way – just get started!
